poem part 2 keep taking the tablets

Part 1 is somewhere on this site but since I take so many tablets Im lost.



Went to the council and built my extension.
Its another small room for tablet retention.
A dispensing machine Its all automatic,
I put my reserves upstairs in the attic.

Tablets all coloured and some are quite bright
I ve even got two that shine in the night.
Stopped takin those when a neighbours remark,
He wanted to know why I glow in the dark.

I take pink ones with Pizza and red ones with beans
Easy to say I dont get enough greens.
I stopped taking yellow, those tablets were binned
The last thing i needed ,tablets for wind.

colours are varied but its hard to keep track
politicians now tell me I need one that black.
Black tablets were good,they came in from France,
Did not make me feel good but now I can dance.

This stuff Im on now and I dont want a sermon
came from Hamburg last week and now I speak German.
Vee hav vays to cure this,und Our vays are metric ?
Just goes to prove "Vorsprung durch technic"

I sent them a letter , forgot to use stamp
.I Told them, Dat they ver as funny as cramp.
A reply just came back and what can I say,
The tablets for that are now on the way.


Now the NHS I just sent them a letter,
Wanted to tell them, I am getting better.
In hindsight now that was a mistake,
They replied of course theirs more tests you can take.

We have Microsoft Tablets, Nintendo and Wii .
none of then really that usefull for me.
They were also glad that I m still alive
but the end of the letter said "get down to five.

They have hundreds more tablets,Lord give me a break
Anyone know how many more I can take.?
So I plucked up the courage and asked out bold,
any youve got that are made from pure gold?

We cant issue them,Its quite plain to see ,
We CANT issue them, your not an MP.
I once saw a Doctor and Im sure we all can.
Mine must be a Lord , With a name like Lucan.

I will meet him one day perhaps up in heaven,
I sure will be patient, number one hundred and seven.
So even up there what does one do?,
To get to see Doctor you will still have to queue

He once sent me a leaflet Of this Im not jokin
Do I want tablets to help me stop smokin.?
Quantative easing ? has new tablet cure,
but for flu or a cold of that Im not sure.

They will soon have a tablet, to cure PPI.
The reason for this I just wondered why.
Its nothing to do, with your vision they said,
,cancel the red pill take a grey one instead.

Who said these people dont earn their pay.
Tried the grey pill this morning and it worked straight away.

So Stratford on Avon , cant go again,
Since I came back, I had got a new pain.
Located my bum on the place the bard sat,
Ive now got an itch there and Ive tablets for that.

Cant go on hols now , Insurance too dear
Struth Ive even given up Australian beer
India Africa Ill never now see
at least I can say that ,Theres No flies on me.


I now have my good days and sometimes Im Naff.
Cure me with tablets?,Your having a laugh.
Breakfast was cheescake and sometimes gateaux.
You cannot have gattox, I replied with Bollo.

Im fed up of bran flakes and then weatabix
but I think then of nursey and grab crucifix.
Scared to see Nursey? I am at a loss ,
why I really feel safer when I carry this cross .

Hope youve enjoyed my long tale of woe,
Im rambling now,so off I must go.
At this time of day Im off in a daze,
Not sure of the reason but Im walking side ways.

Im sure to win over in this constant battle,
but when walking to fast, I m starting to rattle.
So all of your readers Dont go down this road,
Taking too many tablets then you could explode.

Always be wary when they talk of infections,
the next thing your on, yep loads of injections.
My problems had started when I just had a caugh
Look where its finished so dont start me off.

Four weeks of pin pricks and what do I think,
I dare not go swimming in case I might sink?
Fear of those needles and sinking ? Daft bat,



every one knows.THEY HAVE TABLETS FOR THAT.

Part 3

Well Its now six months later and Im on the Pen,
Gliclizide Metformin , No never again.
Im still not sure this is not a mistake
My numbers go up the more that I take.
I started with ten, just as I was told
That worked for a while and so I was sold.
It didnt last long before Im back in trouble
So pretty soon after Im then up to double.
Still drifting higher, my nurse said quite haughty
Your coming off tablets and dose is now forty.
I though of the poem and I wanted to thank her
The amount that I soon need is delivered by tanker
I started to wonder how much this all cost
The thinking on this ,was immediately lost
My night nurse just told me they will make savings instead
and now I feel good with this three in a bed.
I just dont believe it I said in high voice
Though soon realized I have no real choice
Called in at nursey and sat on the seat
She thinks that shes cracked it .I just must not eat.?
This really surprised me, I just had to think.
I raised up my right hand and asked ,Please could I drink?.
Take it more serious was what she replied
Im doing my best Ive tried and Ive tried
Your not from this planet ? your results tell me that.
She mentioned my will, said take care of that.
So Ive donated to her, a pair of black socks.
A poem,some garlic and my giant pill box.
To medical science Ive donated my all.
If they find out an answer , Its too late to call.
I ve donated the poems ,even though they are long
Please someone add music and make it a song.
Eurovision contests with a uniformed nurse
Being so debee those songs all get worse
So Ive finished this epic Have fun , Ive had mine.
My tanker just broke down , its the end of the line.
When you meet me in heaven You all wont forget
I ll be there near the chemists of that you can bet
Im right next to Moses The great tablet taker ?
