I enjoyed that. Thanks for the link BB.
Far better than that other 7 day carni thing from a week ago.
Excellent points about food miles and locally (UK) produced food. I find the same. Most of my meat comes from the butcher 300 yards from the house, who sources his meat mainly from local farms.
She made a couple of rookie mistakes - mainly not using butter (lard over butter for scrambling eggs!!!) and not eating enough fat (hints of fat phobia shadowing the piece). Not sure that her fat to protein balance would be sustainable long term, even with all that lovely oily fish. But other than that, it was great.
Delighted that she didn't make squeamish noises about cold fish and meat. Especially for breakfast.
I'm one of the lucky ones that found switching to carnivory dramatically improved gut throughput and comfort, but then I was in a pretty dire place, following a tummy bug. 9 months on, things continue to be excellent.
(no sabretooth or vampire fangs developing here yet, either. Unfortunately
)
