Has anyone found a pre/probiotic supplement helps, or should I just stick to yoghurt? I've always had a "sensitive" digestive system, but following a low carb WOE usually keeps it in check, but I had Covid over Christmas which seems to have sent everything haywire. I'm guessing my gut flora has thrown a wobbly, but don't want to spend out on a supplement if (live) yoghurt will do the trick. I'm fed up of keeping the loo roll in the fridge :)

I'd be inclined to give live yoghurt a go.

I have Long Covid and dodgy guts have been a factor on and off for quite a while so it could just be a lurking symptom too.

Another thing to look at - and not suggesting at all that you have long covid - is the theory around MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome) / histamine and Long Covid. One of the symptoms is diarrhoea and treatment is anti-histamines, which is probably the last thing you'd think of, but has helped many, including me.

I'm about due to start taking my anti-histamines (Tree pollen hayfever and the catkins are going strong) The dodgy digestion seems to be my only lingering symptom, and I'm never sure whether it's just my awkward sytem or something else
