Your 1c is below mine and I haven't seen a 7 in a long time. If I get near 6.5 after eating I wonder whats up.

That was an OGTT where you drink 75g of pure glucose with nothing else added. It is not the same as an ordinary meal without many carbs and plenty of fat. To be classed as non-diabetic the level needs to be under 7.8 at 2 hours. Pre-diabetes is classified at 7.9 to 11. Diabetic is over 11.
