Hey folks,

I know everyone is different, and I'm fully aware readings fluctuate depending on what you eat and can personally tolerate, I'm also aware of most other factors that can influence levels.

My question for the community is:

What is your personal sweet spot ? Where do you like your post meal numbers to be ?

I like mine to stay under 6mmol/l if possible.

:)

What are your pre meal readings generally?

I like my post meal readings to be as flat as possible.

I like to back to baseline at two hours and never above 7. The one hour reading is the most important one. For me anyway.

I would like before and after to both be very similar and under 6.5 ish (well I can dream can't I):)

Usually around the 4's - 5's, I just wanted to see what others "ideal spots" would be.

If by that, you mean you are usually "around 6" before eating, then you like to be "under 6mmol/l if possible", I think you may that to be a bit of a challenge, if you intend to eat a variety of foods. I'm not challenging the 6s; that's your personal bench mark. What I am suggesting you think about are the practicalities of your bloods matching before and after at all times.

My numbers run very tight, but I don't manage a complete, 100% return to base after meals always, on a pretty varied diet..

I make sure that I don't go above 6mmols. That's my limit, doesn't matter, what I have, portion size for me is so important with the very few carbs I do have.

For me, I have to be in control. This keeps me so well and feeling good.
