Potential Diabetes in Adolescent?

My brother is a doctor, he says it takes TWO random BG tests of over 11mmol/l to diagnose as diabetic. Or a fasting BG over 11mmol/l

As his BG dropped again an hour later I would imagine it would continue to drop still. Pizza has cheese which is fatty and slows down your digestion and would potentially explain results

If he's at all worried then it doesn't hurt to do those tests (well it does but it's only a sting haha!) if they're showing an abnormality a trip to the docs would sort things out. Right down everything, signs of weight loss, fatigue or thirst at all? Or just a general feeling of being. "A bit down in the dumps"?

The 17 year old needs to see his gp asap, urinating three times in an hour is not normal and he needs to get this investigated.

It depends if it's 3 times an hour every hour, or just on the odd occasion. For years I would go that often after drinking anything fizzy. Just goes right through me even now!
