Hypos, rude people, ignorance and grey days.
This is starting to really eat me up but before i'm due on I get really difficult to manage sugar control for about 3-4 days, even eating no carbs my sugars stay above 12 - 15 and I do correction doses too, but I cannot get them down. I write my readings down but this is now a regular pattern each month.

Apart from this I feel really depressed too, where I find it difficult to function, dont want to see anyone or do anything and cant pick myself up, it's got worse since i've been diagnosed type 1 over a year ago.

Am I alone or does any other females out there share the same experience and is there anything that helps, vitamins etc, anything but alcohol !

Thanks.

Mmm never thought I'd reply to my own thread lol !! Just want to keep this high up in case there are any other females who struggle each month and if there's any useful advice/info to help reduce the impact of PMT each month, I have now contacted my DSN so if I learn anything new will post it here to help others who may also suffer each month.
