Just curious... do most people have access to one?

Apparently- there is no pre-planning clinic where I am. But care once you are pregnant...

Curious to know what kind of support people get at these clinics- really feel like I am missing out :(

It's the same at my trust @CranberryIce care is available but there isn't a pre-pregnancy clinic, I wasn't even aware they existed. Have you spoken to your DSN about this ?

I have tried to but getting hold of them
is a nightmare.

They keep telling me my control is good - my Hba1c is 58. I know from
online guidance it should be below 48. Both the consultant and nurse in my area have said I can try to conceive on 58. I did question them about why their advice was different to the NICE guidelines and it didn’t go down well.

Because of the reading I have done and the knowledge I have, I know 58 would put me at risk. :(

So I am on my own...
