Hello, I'm a freelance journalist writing an article about early research suggesting sildenafil significantly reduces deaths from heart attacks in people with diabetes - with possibility that the drug could be an extra option for treating high blood pressure. If shown to be true, this will change current view that sildenafil should not be taken by people with heart disease. I wonder if anyone with diabetes currently taking sildenafil or other PDE 5 inhibitor has any views on this - or whether men with diabetes have been advised not to take sildenafil.
