Hi. This is possibly not the ideal place to post this question but I thought I would get the best response here. I have found it almost impossible to get past the log in stage on this site for over a month, managing only once or twice in that time. I have had no other issue with any other websites...or with my devices...and wondered if anyone else had experienced this. I somehow seem to have managed to get on tonight so...

Any responses appreciated (if I can access them later!). Pity as I really do like and was accessing the site every day until this happened.

I had the same problem. I decided it was just easier, once I had managed to log in, to stay logged in. How wise that is I'm not sure. If I recall, I managed to log in through Chrome. A staff member posted a few days ago that some work (techy stuff) has been scheduled so this could be one problem to be addressed.

Pleinster - I'm sorry you've been having issues accessing the website. In future instances, you might want to email [email protected].

In recent weeks the site underwent a hardware and infrastructure upgrade, which also means we run from an https:// arena now. I understand there have been a very few more support requests as a result of this, but not huge numbers. You may have been caught up in that?

In most instances these were resolved by clearing internet cookies and cache, so maybe try that and see if that improves matters? Sometimes an old cookie "getting stuck" (that's a geek-tastic technical term in my world!) can cause a lot of frustration.

If your issues continue, please contact forum@ and the techies can have a look at it for you.

Thanks for the reply. I did in fact clear my internet cookies etc just a couple of days ago while following advice from Yahoo as my wife couldn't get into her account that day. Looks like that may be what did the trick. I hope so.
