Professional ignorance

Consultant visit yesterday with Sarah -

HbA1c= 10 - "That's better (than 11-12) - increase MF from 3x500 to 2x1000"
Feet OK
I asked for a printout to put in the nurses' folder. "I could give you a printout of the blood tests - if I had a printer."
Last time the cholesterol was less than 2 according to the printout we did get. Now its "OK"
"Nurses should only report high blood test results (over 20) if she feels unwell."
Are they waiting for complications to set in ? What can we expect for her?

Ask if they think she/you are mushrooms? To be kept in the dark and fed horse apples <fume>
