Hi there, Im a type 2 since dec 08 and run most nights hence i need to sometimes give myself a little protein / energy boost ........ so i do take a powder meal which is low GI low carb........ it is slow release complex carbs so makes very little difference to my BG levels......

Im not sure if its sensible to recommend it, but its down to the individual..... i can recommend a site to look at but not sure if thats allowed under the rules here.......

perhaps a moderator can advise me ?

Andy :D

Thanks,

I tried promax meal from maximuscle site,,, you can read the contents of it there and decided for yourself, i found as its low GI and sold as such it did the trick for me....You camn also email them from the site and ask for advice.. it worked for me, but remember it may not work for you........ other compnaies sell it a little cheaper than that site, try searching the net for it

regards

Andy
