Silly question, but ive been into body building for about 6 months now and have been taking the usual supplements (protein, creatine etc) and i have just been diagnosed as type 2, does anybody know what i can and cant take in regards to the proteins etc?

I would Think lean Meat would be a better choice a slower release of the proteins.

Excess proteins can be transformed into glucose by the liver and in that respect they could be counted in like carbs in the overall daily countimg if you do a lot of weight lifting you can eat like 1.0-1.5 grams of proteins pro kg bodyweight pro day a person of 80kg would then eat a total of maximum of 120 grams of protein on 1 day best shared over all meals

all your usual supplements should be fine but check your pre workout and your protein powder for added sugar. get the lowest carb count you can when taking said supplements. There is protein out there that is 2g carb per 40g protein or thereabouts.
