pss

Whatever it is, I don't think it will be a PSS test. PSS is Porcine Stress Syndrome and is a test that vets do on pigs and cattle.

There is a pss test for congestive heart failure. Is this likely in your pal's case?

I've had a couple of dogs with congestive heart failure. the best treatment is only available to vets.

The only thing that I could find relating to PSS is Progressive Systemic Sclerosis which is mentioned in Sjogren's Syndrome.

Sjögren’s syndrome can occur alone (primary Sjögren’s syndrome) or secondary to other well-defined autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis (RA), progressive systemic sclerosis (PSS), polymyositis (PM), and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

Here is a link to some information about this disorder.
