Pump cannula sites

Hi everyone, I'm on the insight and have a serial bad habit of only using my stomach as a cannulation site. I've done it now for so long that I can't exactly remember where I was advised I could put my cannula in? I'm assuming legs good? What about top of your bottom?
Not to keen on arms as I'm very lean!
Can anyone point me in the right direction! Thanks all! X

There is a map in the pump starter pack which shows you - but yes you are right, sides of thighs, arms, top of buttocks all ok:

Are there any runners out there that use the legs ?? I'm new to the Medtronic and have been advised not to use legs as the insulin will be more sensitive here.

Thanks
Misty x

As with injections, anywhere is fair game.....lol.....:).....

but honestly, just all the normal sites you used before the pump are good.......

When i was on MDI I used mainly legs but now I'm on the pump it's the stomach where there's a little more fat.

I was told by my Coordinator that you shouldn't use your arms but I am sorely tempted to give it a try! Does anyone on the Forum use their arms? When I was on MDI I used to inject in my arm when my B/S were high.

I wear my Pods (Omnipod user) often on the back of my arms, what was your Coordinators reasoning for saying this?

I've only used stomach and sides since starting in December but may give other sites a try, must get some better pump pouches tho.
