- hate people who think they know about T1D, but they really don't
I was just recently on a Disney Cruise, and while I was on this cruise, I went scuba diving. When I went to turn in the items that we had borrowed, My pump tubing got caught in the snorkel gear and my pump came off! I was devastated because I was going to have to give myself shots the rest of the ship, which was only a day, but it still sucked. Anyway, I gave myself my Lantus shot and every time I ate, I gave myself a shot of Humalog. I got back yesterday and the first thing I did when I got home was put my pump back on. I think it is safe to say that I know I am able to survive without my pump for a little bit.
