Best wishes to you too. I agree - we're all different and we should all choose what suits us best. There isn't 'one size fits all' for diabetes. We all have different lifestyles and different priorities. You're obviously doing very well, and your post made me smile because you sound so happy and content with life That was really nice to read something so positive.
Yes, I'm still hoping for a cure too! I've had diabetes for more than 20 years and when I first got it, my mum said they'd find a cure in five years. I thought she was trying to be overly optimistic, so I doubled that to ten years - but I'm still waiting! I do think a cure is getting close though. Then both pumps and MDIs will be a thing of the past! I won't miss either of them!
