Pumpkin and winter squash.

Winter squash is about three times the carb content of summer squash, but it is only about 9 percent carb - so you might still be able to enjoy it, as long as you know your tolerance of it and use a meter to check just how much of it is safe for you to eat.

There are so many different kinds.
I will go on a quest to find out which is best.

Winter squash - although it has different types they are all mature, with seeds, which is why they have upped the carb content of the flesh to provide nourishment for the growth of new plants in the next generation. The summer squashes too are different varieties, but they have not yet matured their seeds and are at a different stage in the process.

I have a large garden. I grow zucchini squash but have yet to try winter ones.
I will test with my meter with store bought ones before I commit to space in my garden.
