@jasmine1616 ok lets clear somethings up. Omnipod is no more likely to get bubbles than any other pump. Just because you cant see the tubing (There is basically a few mm to the cannula thats it) doesn't mean its more likely to get bubbles.
What you may be thinking is not being able to visually inspect the tubing means you cant visually confirm there are none. As user, trust is important.
However there are numerous alarms (I may be wrong here but I think if it misses 3 units it kicks off an occlusion alarm) and various other safety alarms included. The pdm even reminds you to check blood after a pod change to make sure.
Before I had my omnipod, the occlusion alarm was my worry. I have had none. If you fill the pod correctly, it primes the air away and off you go. Keep a spare and you can change it if it ever goes mad.
Source: own one for a month now, and as a designer had two pods open for curiosity reasons.... they are one tough cookie to get open!
