Looks rather unusual to me, I've never had this much of a difference even between different meters, unless I've had dirty hands.Attempt 1: Error code
Attempt 2: Different error code
Attempt 3: 9.3
Attempt 4: 5.7
Attempt 5: 6.6
No matter the reputation of the brand, it's still possible to find a poorly manufactured meter or batch of test strips.
Just a wild hunch. Have you changed your soap lately? If there is a residue it can affect readings.- Hands are washed with soap and dried before testing
Have you stored your strips correctly, for instance not in a humid atmosphere such as kitchen or bathroom? Do you close the lid quickly after removing the strip from the pot and lastly have you checked with the manual what the error codes are?

Interesting. I have the same Wavesense Jazz meter and have been unhappy with it since being given it 3 months ago. It’s consistently 0.5 - 1 above a code free meter I was given during pregnancy 7 years ago. Obviously I want to believe the lower readings from the old meter (with new strips). I too get quite a few error readings. I’d be interested to hear what the manufacturer says.
I don't know if this is true but my diabetic nurse told me that pushing your fingers too close to where you've pricked yourself to get enough blood to put on your test strips can cause a higher and inaccurate reading. She said to use gravity and apply pressure further below on your fingers and hands to get enough blood to test.
Are you by any chance applying pressure too high up your finger to get enough blood to test?
Yeah, 2 hours after.Hi. Are you taking readings at the same length of time after meals? My nurse says to test after 2 hours to get a valid response. Also your morning readings could reflect a bad nights sleep .
