Hi everyone. Found this chart online 50 shades of diabeties

My starting HbA1c was 87 so my mmol/l must have been about 14 but now i am on meat only diet i am starting to see 5.3 regular in the morning. If i can keep that up and have the same fasting HBA1c on the day of test would that have brought my diabetes back into the normal range.

Thanks for any advice as i take things to literal sometimes :cat:

The HbA1c is an estimate of your average blood glucose readings over the previous 8-12 weeks, so you need more than a daily FBG to get a clear picture of what your average is. If you’re anywhere close to a daily average of 5.3 that’ll mean a fabulous A1C well into the non-diabetic range.
