It is not your fault you react to it badly (lots of people have allergies or react badly to stuff) and whoever told you that was completely out of order!when i reacted i was really ill with it and i got the usual its your own fault if you dont have it, but scares me

Sounds like an allergic reaction, antihistamine could help... But in the end, it is down to you, it's your choice.I have another worry, im Type 2 and although i know i should have the flu injection, i dont because i react badly my face swelled up to nearly my eyes where shut and was very poorly, so when this new vacine for covid comes out do i chance having it also how do we know its that safe they seem to be rushing it through just wonder what people s thoughts are, when i reacted i was really ill with it and i got the usual its your own fault if you dont have it, but scares me
thanks to be honest the annual flu vacine when the time comes around in work you have to sign a form if you dont want it , it gives me anxiety every time, and the peple who get it get vouchers, but you feel so pressured, i can say i have not had flu for along time fingers crossed i take vit c to try and help but no guarentee i know
I like that idea, we have a similar reward system for child vaccinations here in Australia, those who vaccinate their kids get a government child allowance / benifits.Am I understanding this correctly... staff get vouchers if they take a vaccination?!?! Wow. That is wrong on so many levels!! What do you do for a living?

Its the same at my place, they get a voucher that covers the cost of the vaccination at a chemist/pharmacyI imagine it’s a voucher for the flu jab, not some kind of voucher to spend elsewhere.
It would be wise to discuss your allergy to the flu vaccine with your GP - a reaction involving face-swelling is serious and needs to be investigated. An allergy specialist should be able to pin down exactly what it is in the flu vaccine that you react to and your GP should be able to tell you whether that substance is present in any future Covid vaccine.although i know i should have the flu injection, i dont because i react badly my face swelled up to nearly my eyes where shut and was very poorly,
I was midwife for many years never got a voucher!Am I understanding this correctly... staff get vouchers if they take a vaccination?!?! Wow. That is wrong on so many levels!! What do you do for a living?
I think it is just a incentive to get itI was midwife for many years never got a voucher!
Thanks already discussed with gp showed him the photo i took when my face swelled up did not do much but every year they say i should have it, i dread the fluvac coming round as i feel under pressure to have it will do more so when the covid one comes outIt would be wise to discuss your allergy to the flu vaccine with your GP - a reaction involving face-swelling is serious and needs to be investigated.
