raging hypo!

I am T2 on insulin. This morning at 5am I was wakened by that familiar feeling of arms and legs shaking. Took my blood - 3.3 - and went through to kitchen at once for a snack. I had 4 jelly babies while the kettle boiled, then had tea and a roll. I had fish last night for my tea, often the cause of a hypo even though I think I had enough pots on my plate. Normally I would have a decent supper but felt so tired last night I went to bed early, with no supper. So, this morning, I am washed out and under the weather. Luckily I am retired, so can laze about all day. Of course, my blood readings are top teens today, despite taking a bit extra insulin. Sorry to moan, just felt the need to sound off.

Moan away that is what the group is for, I hate it, hypo hangover, I don't drink but have to get these just because my body can.
Be kind to yourself

What insulin are you on? Is it bolus/basal? Im sure there is a way to avoid hypos even if you decide to skip the meal

I hope you feel better soon @lynbrown! Hypo hangovers are the worst! I usually feel like I've done 10 rounds with David Haye!

Thanks for supportive words. It's now three days since my hypo and am still struggling to get good readings. I had a bad headache today and am feeling rough. I do hate having diabetes.

Sure your not ailing something @lynbrown, 3 days is a long time to recover from a hypo.

Yes, I agree with the guys, I'm a bit worried that you still feel rotten :(

Thanks. I may be a bit poorly, I certainly don't feel great. Hope a good sleep helps. Thanks for your concern all.
