Not really diabetes related but I know you guys are knowledgeable and just trying to put my mind at rest a bit. Fortunately now have my type 2 under control with diet/exercise. But with my last Hbac test (40) my GP ordered some other general blood as I’ve had a few fevers well actually 3 in last 4 months the last one particularly nasty, actually may have been Covid as didn’t test. So everything was completely normal apart from my ESR which was 24 range 0-20 so not massively raised. It’s actually weird because I have a history of ME/CFS but my ESR is usually very low like 2. So was a bit shocked to be 24. I don’t have any other obvious symptoms except feeling very post viral after last fever 2 weeks ago. Actually starting to wonder if might be long covid. Anyway just wondering if the tail end of this virus is most likely cause for the raised ESR. As all other bloods ok and no specific symptoms. I’ve got to repeat test in a month.
