Reaching 70 year young

Unsure about this but am told at 70 you have to apply for another license I informed the DVLA that I was on insulin in2014 and am 70 this year I just checked the records and it says due in 2017 so do I have to reaply at 70 or is covered

I ask because you are usually sent a renewal form a few months before your 70th birthday.

Thank you i sent for the forms, I checked online and it says my renewal is 2017 sighs better to be safe than sorry

I think when you reach 70 you need to renew every 3 years, just as any insulin controlled diabetic anyway..........
