Type 1 Reaction to libre

Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues with their libre, and if there is a solution.

The last three sensors I have applied have been quite itchy for the whole period of wearing, and have fallen of between 3-5 days early.

They have left me with a sort of allergic reaction, probably to the glue and have left a kind of burn mark on my arm.

(Hopefully I just added a photo above! Not an expert in IT!! )

I have been using the libre since December last year, and this is a new problem.

Any ideas, however random, welcome.

Looks like a reaction to the adhesive. You could give it a rest and then try in a few weeks, I also seem to remember people were using tegaderm patches as a base and had some success with shooting the sensor through the film. You could also try some of the skin wipes / creams that act as a barrier like cavilon.

There is an excellent facebook group where lots of advice is given about what to put under and over a libre.
