Do you still have mild hypo's every day Brun? My bg seems much more stable now but still get symptoms. Before breakfast and before dinner seem to be my worst times.
The shakes in the morning are either as soon as I get out of bed or after I've had my shower (which on week days is immediately after waking). That's why I've been having a few almonds to try and keep me going until I can get breakfast. May be I should try something with a small amount of carbs. I don't seem to spike after Aldi Milk and cereal breakfast biscuits. I might try just one as I wake and see if it helps.Sharp drops are definitely a trigger - but you need to work out why you have such a sharp drop at certain times, and eat something before it happens. Don't wait for the symptoms to develop.
I am guessing that you get it after rushing round with the kids, in the morning?
In that case, you need to eat something more substantial than a few almonds, so that the food catches you as you drop.

I really need to get a grip of this and make some headway, as its really affecting my day to day life. I take my hat off to you all that have been dealing with it for years, especially without a diagnosis and support from the medical profession.
Good news my heart scan was good! No holes no obvious defectsMRI tonight so crossing everything )))

Fantastic news! Hope all goes well tonight. A little girly tip - wear a sports bra as they'll ask you to take a normal one off! The fastener can get hot and burn youGood news my heart scan was good! No holes no obvious defectsMRI tonight so crossing everything )))
I took a Cd but could hardly hear it for the noise the MRI scanner made! Try not to worry, I'm sure all will be fine. How long have you got to wait for the results? If you don't mind me asking, why did they send you for a MRI scan? If you'd rather not answer don't worry....just curious xThanks Kaz! I didn't get this in time
So yes had to take mine off! It wasn't a nice experience but I got through it with a little help from an Olly Murrs cd. Tries to push the radiologist a bit for reassurance but nothing. She said try not to worry if they need you sooner they will call you. Of course this did nothing to reassure me in fact quite the reverse!

I was diagnosed with a stroke last month with no clinical evidence to suggest I had actually had one other then 'my story' the consultant told me I had either had a stroke or had MS. My story was that I had an odd episode where I started stuttering a lot for five mins was a bit shaky and felt a bit queasy and went pale. Looking back my cheek was twitching a bit too. All of which could be accountable for RH but was not considered. I started having violent tremors and twitching muscles a week later and then collapsed in a restaurant having munched my way through a bowl of chips having home hungry. My sugar didn't drop but I was definitely having a hypo and it may have dropped suddenly I suppose as was only 6.6 when tested and I know the carbs I put away would have had me up at 14 or more. Of course I only know this now I have been monitoring for a few weeks and my symptoms which were a lot of blurred vision dizziness and tremors are almost gone

I hope you get some answers soon. My MRI was several years ago. I had been having problems with my balance for a while and they wanted to check my ears and brain. All ok thankfully, but the wait for the results was a pretty anxious time even though they didn't think there was anything sinister going on.What was yours for Kaz? Xx
