Hi just a quick post I an type 1 and I went shopping at the metro centre on Saturday, which is a really big shopping centre and I did lots of walking, half way round shopping my legs were in really bad pain like an achy pain. When I got home only my right leg was in so much pain, like a dead leg, achy pain I had to keep wiggling it and if I stopped moving it it would really hurt. I'm certain it isn't anything to to do with just walking because it was so painful. I'm just wondering, is this anything to do with my diabetes? Has anyone els had this? Should I speak to my diabetes specialist?

Go to A&E. I had the same problem and it turned out that the arteries in my leg had collapsed. They managed to put a stent in my arteries and saved my leg. I've been type 1 for 37 years now. Get yourself checked out!
