Oh man I'm excited. Got my InsulCheck in the mail today, I immediately clipped it on. :D

Any other InsulCheck users around? I considered the Timesulin as well, but the nonreplacable battery and the fact I don't like a loose cap made me choose InsulCheck.

(It's like a stopwatch that times when your pen last finished an injection, and resets it with every injection).

I emailed support about using it in combination with my Frio case and they said the device was not created moisture proof, but they have a guaranteed 24 month after purchase replacement policy regardless. So if it breaks within 24 months from being in the Frio case they'll replace it. They shipped from Ireland to the Netherlands in about a week's time too. :)

Please don't take this the wrong way @DaftThoughts , but as a NovoRapid user, you could get a Novopen Echo which displays both time since last injection and last units taken, which is a better information set. And that should come free through your medical plan.

I already inquired about this and my insurance insists I stick to the Flexpen, unfortunately. I've no idea why, and I can't switch to a different insurance due to debt. Until that can get sorted, Flexpen it is. :( (This is the same insurance company that won't allow me to get a procedure done in Germany on my herniated disc that is both cheaper and safer than a local procedure, so that should be a good indication of what they're like lol)

Edit: Actually I think my DSN mentioned that the Novopen Echo is something they prefer to prescribe to children who aren't on pumps. Adults get the shaft way too often on this stuff ugh.
