Very. While you "can't out exercise a bad diet" you can certainly under exercise it. Wrong thread but being forced to rest had me trawling through my records for how I dealt with this (diabetes) initially. Very interesting. So frustrating when you can’t stick to your normal routine, isn’t it?
Sounds as though you had a great day @Japes - more power to your elbowCooler weather here today, so a very enjoyable all day walk. Splendidly moderate as to pace, but totally immoderate numbers have appeared on the pedometer and spreadsheet. Oops.
I cannot begin to express how pleasing it was that my lunchtime blood sugars number check was absolutely perfect as I ground to a halt by the hospital (Um, nearest toilets I could think of at the time...). I took great delight in sitting on a wall opposite the diabetes clinic to give myself my carefully adjusted fast acting dose, eat my lunch AND was spot on for cake four hours later!

Strange today. I got up to a 6'9 fasting at 9am before breakfast. Went for a 45 min walk with doggy and 2 hours later it was only 7'0. So exercise does work. Must increase it.
