Regular moderate exercise log

Mondays chest session a day late due to basal injection mismanagement, like I probably had a few u too many as I think I went past the dose not paying attention first thing, but anyhow dumb bell press to 36kg, bench press to 70kg and felt weak, flys to 20kg and pull overs to 38kg.

I've come home, done my shopping and am going back for a swim in a minute if when I get there the pool's not heaving full, if it is then I'm coming straight back home again

Edit, the pool was quite busy and slow so I gave it a swerve....

Took it a easy today until I can figure out what the pain in my groin is. A pulled muscle probably so should be ok in a day or 2.
2 gentle walks, around 11k steps in all and a sedate 15 mins on the exercise bike tonight, no fast hard pedalling.

Bench press last night, working sets of 110kg 5x3 then a top single of 150kg, just to see if I could! and I did! felt ok but as in my competition there's no need to go as heavy I just wanted to test where I'm at. Then bicep curls and then home.

Take care everyone.

Be very careful young lady - pulled muscle or not.

Swimming and gymming today, swim first which was 1450m in 35.15mins, then home for a coffee and back for back but wasn't overly strong, standard warm ups and I couldn't get on the pull down machine so used a wide handle on another machine, forgot the handle was heavy and dropped it on my head when I pulled the pin out of the stack , but it only bled a little... Usual routine for my back this week apart from kettlebell deadlifts to finish.

Tired now

Not much today really. 14ksteps Little bit of "yardwork" carrying 2 x 20k bags heatlogs, moving pallets and loading barrow with logs then carrying them indoors. @kev-w hope the head is O.K.

Doesn’t sound like ‘not much’. Sounds quite strenuous.

Clearly not enough - that's why my BMI is a portly 22 compared to your 20/21

Ah but you’ve got there by hard work and determination, much more impressive. Ive got here by a bout of bad luck that I had no input whatsoever upon.

Been thinking about my comment all night quite insensitive. I would have deleted it but too late. St Paul had it right about the mouth or in this case the keyboard.

Oh no, don’t worry it wasn’t insensitive and I certainly wasn’t put out by it. I took it in the spirit in which you intended.
I feel a bit of a cheat really having got to this point with no effort, when I read orher people’s success stories of real grit and determination, so actually I feel quite lucky if that doesn’t sound weird.

My first visit for a while... I've been doing a bit too much comfort eating and exercise has become sporadic. I got back on it in October but I can feel my impetus going again as the days get shorter. So I need to get some motivation to keep this going through the winter - hopefully these forums will help.

Welcome @stuffedolive . Am I reading this right as nearly 56 hrs exercise in that time frame? Sounds good to me if I am right but I am a lazy bugg** so others may disagree - I doubt it though.

Thanks Ianspurs. That's for the 31 days of October. Its a bit sporadic. There are some long walking days included in that and a lot of days of sitting on my backside staring out of the window. :-(

Thursday legs, I finished work too late to swim but had a half decent leg session, leg curls, extensions, squats, calf raises, leg press and finished off with 5 minutes on a stepping rowing machine thingy

Oh and I did some kettle bell squats in my warm up
