Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with T2 in 2019 with HbA1c of 59. With diet and exercise I got it down to 40, but relapsed since last year due to mental health issues and work related stress and commute -- leading to overeating and loss of diet control and poor exercise regime. My latest HbA1c, tested this week, is 67. I have now gone back to controlling my diet (minimal carbs, some fruits, snacking on nuts) and have been exercising regularly (running and biking). I was wondering if there is a chance of bringing the numbers down again without medication. My diabetic nurse was encouraging that I could do it again, but just feel a bit hopeless.
Many thanks.
