Resistive starch - I ate a Banana and lived - What are your experiences?

I regularly have a banana and apple smoothie for my lunch it also has oat milk in it with a small amount of honey. The carbs vary depending on the weight of both banana and apple but will be approximately 50 to 55g of carbs. my blood sugars are averaging at 5.8 before meals and 6.8 after meals. The smoothie is homemade and is delicious!
You probably are on Insulin therapy, for me that amount of carbs is my 3day's quota.
I keep very tight control. Nothing over the upper 4s post prandial.
