Hi
@Flowercity
I've been T1 for 53 years and have had on again off again retinopathy for at least ten years. I get my eyes tested every year but it remains at a state where they don't want to treat it. (My main eye issue at the moment is a cataract in my right eye which is sufficiently bad that they've put me in the queue for surgery because they can't see through it to check the retinopathy).
So for me it's no reason to panic but maybe is a reason to review my diabetic control to see if I can tighten it.
I remind myself that eye specialists have been dealing with diabetics for nearly a century and that the treatments have developed dramatically. Though some diabetics still go blind, far less do so than did a few decades ago.
