If a type 2 diabetic removes sugar, refined carbs, all junk food, all fast food, and all factory processed food, they will most likely see benefits in blood glucose control. The idea that it was eating raw plants (rather than the **** they stopped consuming) that made the difference to these people's health is extremely doubtful in my opinion. In addition, the idea that a raw vegan diet can reverse type 1 diabetes is ludicrous. The people in the film advocating and teaching their raw vegan diet are very cult-like. The conclusion that a raw vegan diet is a healthy way to eat in the long term is not the conclusion I came to when I investigated what the optimal diet for humans might be.
