Hi all. I am about to start a completely new regime, hopefully as low carb as I can go. I have also bought a Nutribullet, and would love to hear anyone's experience with that. My question is this - there is much talk about curing diabetes, but surely you are only ever in remission? Back to my real question - can you reverse neuropathy?
I don't think anyone here would be doing that but green smoothies are very healthy for everyoneHi...I wasn't splitting hairs, nor being 'clever' ... My concern was that could there be a risk that higher carb fruit and veg be taken...as 'juices' are supposedly 'healthy'. I have a friend who isn't DB- but seriously overweight due to a combination of steroids, a serious medical condition and a lack of basic/simple exercise. He bought himself a NB...for the best of reasons. The next thing I know he's making himself beautiful strawberry, banana, orange etc smoothies/ juices....with little health benefits in terms of weight gain.
Nutribullits are fine if you are not diabetic or prediabetic.
They do have health benefits for those lucky enough not to have insulin and glucose problems.
But even too many smoothie can be harmful for normals!
However and I've done this before today @Brunneria is a dab hand and knows some great green smoothie.
As is Kermit in a Nutribullet...Creme de Menthe is both Green and Smooth.
