Hi folks, I had my review with Diabetes Nurse, Got my pneumo jab (had already had flu one) she took bloods, went over a couple of sheets on information for newly diagnosed ie: diet said i may get put on meds, made referral to podiatrist, made referral to diabetic education clinic at hospital, said that they dont believe in self monitoring & that was it really?....Told her i had my meter & strips & i would be testing whether they like it or not? as i really want to monitor what i eat & how my blood sugars react with different foods as i'm really overwhelmed with what i can & cannot eat at the moment :crazy: She never took my blood pressure? which did surprise me as i have a heart prob
