Revising Meds

Evening,
I am currently on 200mg Metformin and Dapagliflozi my bloods are starting to increase and weightloss has ground to a halt and really struggling.
I was thinking of asking the GP to start me on Rybelsus?

Is that possible Combined with the meds im on or is there a better combination of meds.

Hi @MRSDUMPLIN , we cannot advise on medications, this is something you’d need to ask your health care professionals. I am on Rybelsus, just 7mg daily and that along with a low carb diet keeps my bloods sugars in a normal range and I am losing weight slowly. As I say we can’t advise so pop along to see your Dr to see what they think.

It was more is there known issues with the 3 medications, or if anyone else is on the same regime.

Desperate for some weightloss assistance but not sure what could be introduced or recommended and often you guys know more than the GP !

Hi @MRSDUMPLIN - just to back up @Rachox - we cannot offer any advice about medication.
Many of us here find that changes to diet can be more effective either coupled with medication, or (as in my case) eventually replacing them, but really we can only tell you our stories, not advise you on medication.

When you say that your weight loss has ground to a halt - I can relate, it's tough; what is your experience?
