Oh well keep with the corrections and fluid intake for now and ping your DSN on Monday if you are still ill with high numbers.

When you are ill and seeing persistent high blood sugar you may often need to increase insulin until the illness is over. With blood sugar in the teens maybe increase your long acting insulin 25%. Stop doing this once you feel better and see normal blood sugars, or if you get lows.
