hi ya all
Another quick question as we seem to be getting told to go back to work I know most of you will probably have told your employers that you are diabetic( or in my case they have only just found out) and they would have said based on personal situation (such as social distancing if u can or public transport issues) if you can actually go back to work or not
as I think that if You are diabetic you are still classed as a moderate or medium risk
So have any of you guys been told no or yes to going back
In my own situation I’m still waiting but I’m also still having to go for another blood test next week and wait a week to see the results at nurse and I’m guessing after that I will be back if my blood sugars are under control
Lol

I think it depends on the stance of your employer. I am working from home and have been since 10th March since my employer considers that diabetes makes me more vulnerable - ie. I get the flu vaccine, which was all the advice available back then. Almost the entire workforce is currently WFH, and we have already been told that a mass return to work is unlikely before the end of August, whatever the govt says.

What my status will be then I don’t know, but given that my employer seems to be quite cautious I am not expecting to be in the first wave to return.

Of course, things are still very dynamic and all plans are subject to change along the way!
