The only salt I add to food is if I cook a meal I add salt to veg. I only really eat a hot meal maybe once a week. I’ve just eaten to packets of cheddars and they seem extremely salty. Also a few months ago I bought corned beef to have in a sandwich and that was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Are the company’s that produce these things adding more salt to their products?

It sounds like your tastebuds have got used to less salt.
Like you, I don't use much when I cook from scratch (most of the time) so find processed food very salty.

I use pink Himalayan salt and even put it in coffee If I feel a bit jittery (that’s a medical term in my opinion lol). I’ve also discovered recently that my salad tastes so much better if I sprinkle a little salt on it. But I do agree processed food does taste too salty but I don’t eat much of that these days.
