Sandals.....

I thought I would keep away from this topic as I am one of those blokes that likes to wear socks with sandals,
I suppose I felt a little embarrassed to admit it.

Never mind I do not care as I am not the only one.

as long as it looks good :)

Socks with sandals it looks funny..... If you want to wear socks you can wear the boots and other stuff...........
If you feel comfortable so you can do this.......

What if this is an age thing? My 'children' , 30 and 27, are lovely people, but they don't like my footwear choices!

I don't wear socks with sandals but I am a Croc wearer. They are so ridiculously comfortable. It's like walking on air.
And yes I do wear socks with them.
I'll get my coat ;)

Well I wear sandals pretty much year round and in hot weather did used to get nasty blisters. Especially with new sandals.
So I wear white socks all the time now and have for many years. Even with a suit if I had one.
White socks look sophisticated, cool, smart and so far out front in fashion terms no-one round here has caught up yet and copied me.

My big, tall, handsome, very "on trend" brother wears (long) shorts and wellies all the time. - is that in the same league as socks and sandals? - he's got a bald line on his hairy legs where his wellies have rubbed the hair off.

The only time you will find me sock less is in water. Had a crush injury which has left them a bit sensitive. I can't stand people touching them it's agony. Annual foot check is my idea of hell. First wife was a podiatrist lol.

Socks and sandals yup.

Then again I dye my beard a different colour every other week. Shaved head so the chances of people noticing my socks is pretty slim
You'd get on well with the lecturer on a genetics course I'm doing. One very feisty lady.

Her hair was a lovely shade of green on the last lecture matching her dress exactly :D
Thought you were implying that she dyed her beard

Today was blue I regreted it as soon as I did it. Horrid but certainly entertaining....

I've been diagnosed 10 years, keep my bg low by low carb and 2 x 500mg met SR and wear sandals all summer [without socks]. My feet have normal sensation and I heal normally, so I don't worry. I have awkwardly shaped Morton's feet and find it difficult to get comfortable footwear that doesn't squash my toes. Unless it's cold, I don't wear socks, because my toes don'tr like them. I hike a fair bit [in hiking boots and toe socks!] and have never had a serious foot injury.
I am careful
