Saturated Fat

You could try eating first thing and then late in the day - my fast is when awake not sleeping - first I find it more useful not to have to find food when out of the house, and secondly it seems to work well to lower blood glucose levels. If I eat about 5 gm of carbs as breakfast I don't see my BG levels going up all morning and then dropping rapidly in the afternoon.
When I was taking Metformin I waited until lunchtime to eat and take the tablet, so I could go out of the house first thing, and ate earlier in the evening to try to get the worst of the consequences over before bedtime, but the fasting through the night did not seem as effectve as fasting through the day.
 
I don't know if i am in keto yet or if I will ever be, I haven't counted anything I just put meat veg on my plate and eat it , I have bacon eggs mushroom tomato for breakfast , for lunch i have some more bacon and have coffee with double cream, I have cut cheese out as it was causing constipation , I don't have milk now . I eat pork mince chicken bacon and every day I have a cup of berries with double cream and a small bar of dark chocolate . I've lost 21lbs in 11 weeks .

I have just not eaten bread flour rice pasta sugar .
 
Thank you, I follow the diet doctor for that exact reason that it is all worked out for me. Plus I don't add most things like onions, mushrooms etc. The recipe is philly cheesesteak casserole with chicken.
I did think I was running to the right numbers
 
This gives me hope, I lost 10lb in two.weeks, maybe I'm expecting too much in the early days. Thanks
 
I may try this, as always loved my cuppa and breakfast. Just find I'm not hungry which is why I hold off. But may help drop my bg levels lower. Thanks as always.
