I see my Specialist monthly atm as we try and sort out my insulin and medications. He is fully on board with low carbing as is my GP. Bonus point for me!
So today he has taken me off my gliclazide! Lowered my lantus by 2 units so now down to 16 units daily.
Wants me to ring him next week to let him know how I am going as I have been suffering from severe sweating and now getting cold very quickly for no apparent reason. If nothing has changed he is prepared to do further investigation.
He is also concerned as my weight loss has stalled on lchf.
Any way I am absolutely Thrilled with todays results!!
