Schweppes slimline lemonade

Looking at my food chart the only other thing that was eaten was about 10 chips (done using an actifry) and a tandoori chic breast made using pataks paste

How you get rogue results

Saying that I've notice when I first started testing if you use different finger tips you get wild readings or a different reading on each finger

Wonder how that happens

You could easily have had a bit of something on your finger tip. If you handled another glass, with, say frruit juice or a "full fat" mixer in it, your finger could have been contaminated.

You'll probably never know for this occasion, but it likely makes sense to try the lemonade again and see if it happens again.

Driving home after Christmas and ordered a Tonic water with a pub lunch, specifying that it must be slimline or sugar-free. When I checked the bottle it was this trendy (expensive) Fevertree "Naturally Light" one. I had an usually high reading later, so I checked the details and they came out at: "Total Carb: 3.8g of which sugars: 2.9g", the sugar content being attributed to fruit sugars.
Just goes to show you can't let down your guard for a minute...
