I've heard that seed oils are bad for us for many reasons but are seeds okay to eat if they are in their whole form?
I'm talking linseed, sesame, pepitas, chia?
If they are whole, can the oils in them still become oxidisied or is it only the processed oils we have to worry about?

I think the oils are a problem because the heat & solvent extraction process results in fats that are alien to our biology. The seeds in their natural state may contain lectins and oxalates, the implications of which are less widely understood or agreed upon.
