Type 2 Seeds

Personally I would say none are "good" especially not oil made out of them. Macadamia nuts, almonds, walnuts are ok ish.

I am taking flax seeds to help counter constipation on a lower carb higher fat diet. They seem to work. I feel like joey the budgie, but they do work.
 
When I first started LCHF I went all out and started on flax seeds, Chia seeds and Psyllium husk. To be quite honest I saw zero effects though some people swear by them. I will occasionally have Almonds, Walnuts or Pecans but in very small amounts (I have no off switch with nuts) and coincidentally recently I have found that having them with peppered cheddar means that the off switch is... switched off.
 
Anybody noticed the Pip and Nut range of butters that are out on the market?

I'm aware of them but have never bought any. Just check the labels and ingredients (as with everything!) if you're considering buying - some have added sugars. I've generally bought Whole Earth and Meridian butters.

Indeed. I have been looking at nut butters. I bought almond the other day from Morrisons. It is quite lo in carb content.

I use ground Flaxseed daily. I sprinkle it on my food. It is a powerful antioxidant, which is anti-inflammatory and heart healthy. Full of fibre, but more importantly, full of omega 3.

I can’t remember who suggested them to me. It may have been yourself. But if I don’t take them daily then I know about it. So I am drilling myself to take some daily.
