Self testing on diabetes

I was given a freestyle lite by my Diabetic nurse. I have also entered a couple of 'competitons' on the diabetic UK website which I have received machines for.

I am only six months in, but already my dietician does not understand why I test so frequenlty (only 3 times a day - pre breakfast, once before dinner, and usually once 2 hours after, but tonight, twice as I had sushi, and I like to see what effect that has)

I tend to go on ebay and buy some strips, so that I am only putting a prescription in once a month. If I do it this way, I dont think my GP can query it, and it is costing me about £20.00 per month.

on ebay, I seem to be able to get Freestlye strips at about £10/11.00.

It is also an easy to use unit.

That would be amazing, only problem is I am a bit illiterate when it comes to computers - so could you please tell me how to make a pm?

Hi Serena. No, you're not going to be chucked off the forum.

To send a pm to fuji just click on the pm symbol under his name.
Then when the page opens up type in your message. When finished click on submit. That is it to send to him.
When he replies you will see on the top section, next to user control panel ( x new messages) . Click on that and it will take you to your inbox.
You can read the message there and send a reply from there as well.

Any problems come back here and I will try and sort it for you.
