Sell CGM stuff

I have recently been switched from the Dexcom G6 to G7. I am being pressed to start with the G7 (which isn't a problem), BUT I have a few G6 sensors, three G6 transmitters and a G6 receiver that will be surplus. The hospital don't want them back and told me to dispose of in the usual way.
This seems such a waste, so I want to 'sell' them for FOC plus postage.
But I am not allowed to sell prescribed stuff.
Should I send them.to landfill or break the law and dispose of them?

as you say you are not permitted to sell them, you've done the right thing and asked what to do with them, and you've been told what to do.. do it

I'm in various Facebook groups where people help eachother out in this way. No selling or giving away on this forum.

It's definitely a waste by the nhs @Platinum if you just throw them away, and anything like this makes me mad, especially when the nhs is in such a bad state. I'm glad our hospital diabetes team is more sensible.

The reason the nhs state this.. and will not take them back if that hygiene and contamination can not be confirmed when coming from a non official source

I'm well aware of that thanks @searley
However there is no need for waste, and there are solutions that are not a waste of money to most things.

Why are the hospital team pressing @Platinum to start the G7 before finishing the G6's?

When someone using Libre changed to Dexcom and had 3 Libre spare, the hospital contacted me and asked..........I'll let you write your own ending!

They are on a pump.. my team too was trying to push me to use the g7… however I refused as was due a pump change

@Platinum does have the choice to continue and use the g6…. Or start the G7 then go back and use the g6 later
