Type 2 Sex - is my sperm contaminated with my medication?

Hello all
In short - my vegan wife refuses to have sex with me as she refuses to have my medicated sperm in her.......

I am a 62 year old, married 40 years and still like to exercise my conjugal rights on a regular basis. However, my 56 year old, loving wife has it now in her head that I will contaminate her body with my medicated sperm..... This is causing undue stress on my marriage and I'm not really attracted to her sexually because of her refusal and general rejection.

Does anyone know of any medical evidence that this may be the case (ie contamination of sperm) and whether or not it may have a detrimental effect on her little vegan body? She has said to me if I can prove that there is no detrimental effect then we can resume our sex life......

My medication per day is:
Metformin Hydrocloride 2000mg (4 x 500mg)
Forxiga – Dapagliflozin 10mg x 1
20mg Simvastatin x 1
Victoza 18mg/ml Liraglutide


My average hba averages around 8mmol/L over 30 days, so fairly controlled at the moment - has been a lot higher in the past.

I have no idea but I have come across (no pun intended!) people who just don't like sperm inside them full stop and go for the old coitus interuptus method and deposit it elsewhere. Could be an option?

How about if you offered to wear a condom?

Even if there are traces of meds in sperm, I can't see it having any effect on your wife, lots of men take meds for different reasons with no such problems.

I don't know the pair of you but my guess would be that there may be something else behind her refusal of intercourse rather than her stated reasons. I can't see how your sperm could become contaminated. Possibly counselling may be a route to go down ? As I said before, I may be totally wrong but just my initial thoughts. Hope you get this resolved soon.

Ummm, I take it you have been diabetic and on meds for a while ?
If so, why has your wife made this decision now, not at the outset?

In answer to your question, I don't honestly know, but somehow doubt it. I'm with Mo on this one, counselling may be the way forward.
Have you asked her why she changed her mind to her current stance ?

With all respect OP this is totally nuts. If your wife is on the level then she has some kind of phobia. My instinct would be there may be other reasons for this aversion to sex or ejaculation.
